VIDEO CAMERA WORKSHOP

The Workshop

This 1-day workshop will teach you how to use your video camera. Learn the techniques used by professional videographers to tell stories using video. Elevate your videos from merely documenting events to creating entertaining short films. This is not a lecture, but hands-on training with individual help with your camera from the instructors in a fun non-technical environment.

Who Should Attend?

This workshop is for anyone who wants to become more comfortable with using their video camera and learn movie making techniques. You must have your own standard or high definition video camera.

What's Included?

You will learn basic camera operation and functions, camera moves, handheld vs. tripod, video composition, lighting, audio and shooting for sequence techniques. Each student will shoot during the workshop with guidance from the instructors.

Bring a brown bag lunch. We will have a working lunch with time to shoot and talk to the instructors. Coffee, tea and bottled water will be available throughout the day.
